Danielle Yorgy, RN, NCCAOM, L.Ac.
Danielle earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2007 from the State University of New York, in her home state. After enjoying 7 years as an RN at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, she decided to change careers and pursue Chinese medicine. Inspired by her experience using acupuncture to overcome a long struggle with depression, Danielle earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2013. Although she still sees the incredible value of Western medicine, she parted ways with her nursing career to focus her energy on her Acupuncture practice and helping others to find their own version of a healthy lifestyle.
Danielle and her family split their time between Frisco and Denver, in order to enjoy the active lifestyle, small town feel, and the access to the outdoors that Summit County offers. She is usually busy chasing her two little boys, but fits in traveling, skiing, hiking, and biking. Danielle also loves to cook and bake, while eating a plant-based diet.
